The fonds consists of records which document Edgar Wickberg's research on Chinese land tenure systems and rural society, and the history of Chinese communities overseas. Materials include research notes, correspondence, computer printouts, newspaper and magazine clippings, photocopies of both archival documents and scholarly articles, and file cards and notes stored in file card boxes. The series are Land Tenure (divided into sub-series by region), Rural Localities in China, Chinese in Canada, Chinese in the United States, and File Cards.

The fonds consists of lectures (1961-1987) and publications (1961-1989) by Aguzzi-Barbagli. It also includes a series of correspondence with Paul Oskar Kristeller (1959-1994) and some miscellaneous research materials.

Fonds consists of records documenting the programs and activities of the Radio Society / CiTR (including DISCORDER), including textual records and sound recordings of a variety of programs, radio plays, campus events, public service announcements, photographs of the radio studio and from different events, and advertisements produced by the Radio Society for broadcast on its station (CYVR/CiTR) or affiliated radio stations. In addition, the fonds includes recordings of interviews conducted on behalf of the Alma Mater society relating to its art collection. Fonds also consists of materials related to the administration of the radio station including information about licensing, executive meetings, policies, job descriptions, and staff training.

The collection consists of the Canadian Union of Students working papers and studies sponsored by the organization and subject files dealing with issues such as Vietnam, the New Left, Social Action and assorted education topics.

The fonds consists of the bound minutes of meetings of the Faculty held between 1915 and 1921. In addition, an oversize bound visitor registry (1959-1993) was acquired in 2020 and can be found in box 2.

Fonds consists of several essays and one publication. It includes an annotated copy of a paper written by St. Clair-Sobell, an essay about Leo Tolstoy, a biography of Ornest D. Durnovo with related correspondence, and written remarks by a Soviet commentator on one of St. Clair-Sobell's papers. The publication is a course calendar from Karl-Franzens-Reichsuniversitat (University of Graz, in Austria) for the winter semester 1944/45.

Fonds consists of textual records generated throughout Dr. Miller's career with the Department of English. They document his involvement in Departmental affairs and include correspondence with students and other faculty; Departmental memos and newsletters, teaching notes; and committee minutes. The records also illustrate some of his interests and activities outside the Department, including the Faculty of Arts Committee on Student Life; President's Committees on University Lectures, and Spiritual Life; the UBC Anglican-United Campus Ministry, and the Co-operative Christian Campus Ministry; the Humanities Association of Canada; and the Association of Canadian University Teachers of English.
The files are arranged in three series, representing Dr. Miller's spheres of activity: Department of English, University Affairs, and Outside Interests. Some files' contents overlap, particularly those dealing with the lecture committees and those labelled "English Department" and "Departmental Records" - however, the files and their contents were retained in their original order.

Fonds contains committee reports, correspondence, and subject files, as well as published materials describing its programs and correspondence of its faculty members including Michael Futrell, Barbara Hedt, Peter Petro, Ncholas Poppe, Irina Rebrin, Irina Reid and Chris Turner and Bogdan Czaykowski.

Fonds consists of laboratory manuals published by the UBC Department of Physics between 1949 and 1966 (most dated 1957-1962); mimeographed hand-outs for experiments and other assignments; hand-written lecture notes; and a 1944 Canadian Army physics laboratory manual. Many of the manuals are annotated. The manuals are bound, but the notes and hand-outs are loose; all have been placed in acid-free folders. They are arranged by course number, and then chronologically; unnumbered materials, and folders containing unsorted material from various courses, were placed at the end.
Fonds also includes promotional materials, many of which relate specifically to the Department of Physics at university-wide Open Houses, annual reports from the Department of Physics, notes made by Professor John Warren regarding x-rays and particle physics, as well as photographs taken of individuals, groups, and events related to the Department of Physics.

The fonds consists of scrapbooks constructed by members of the Theta Chapter of the Phrateres, from some of the sub-chapters, and from the UCLA Alpha chapter, to document their activities. Scrapbooks are composed of clippings, pamphlets, photographs, and drawings relating to various charitable and social events sponsored by the organization. The records also include minutes from Theta Chapter and Presidents' and Social Reports. Other materials include membership lists, a guest book for an alumni tea, and handbooks for the UBC Theta Chapter and for the University of Washington chapter.

Some records date from before the formation of the Department, when the psychology program was still part of the Department of Philosophy and Psychology. The fonds consists of records dating from 1907 to 2008, which provide a unique source of information particularly about student-related matters such as grades, university admissions, graduation and examinations. In addition to records generated by the Registrar's Office itself, there are also Faculty records (1915-1963) which were probably maintained by the Registrar who served as the secretary to Senate. The Registrar’s Office also maintained the records of the Senate’s committees, reports, and elections (1912-1930). There are also records related to the Sopron Division of the Faculty of Forestry (1957-2007). These records include handwritten transcripts and correspondence. The records have been largely retained in their physical order in which they were acquired - as a result, records from different series are often inter-filed together, making it difficult to distinguish them with any accuracy. The records on microfilm include correspondence, student registration cards, academic records, and information on scholarships and bursaries dating from 1913 to 1968. The Registrar's Office also collected copies of student examinations. In 1993 copies of student examinations from 1915 to 1969 were microfilmed and the originals destroyed.

Fonds consists of 10 volumes of purchase requisitions from 1954 to 1958, and a central office correspondence series from 1955 to 1965. The correspondence is informally arranged within a classification system that was inconsistently applied and developed until 1964. Two reference sheets for the subject classification system remain for 1956 and 1963 and are included in the first file for each of those two years. Many of the headings reflect the categories used by the Department of Agronomy. Intermingled with the files of the division are some of the faculty papers of V.C. Brink, the chair of the division. In 1964, the entire system appears to have broken down. From 1964 to 1970 all the division correspondence files were stored in unlabelled file folders the vast majority of which exhibited no internal coherence. Because of the presence of Brink's faculty papers in the files, and because of the absence of the division's classification system, the records from 1964 to 1970 have been arranged and described with Brink's personal papers. For a complete understanding of the functions and activities of the division, these records must also be consulted.

The fonds consists of records generated by both the Dept. of University Extension (1936-1969) and its predecessor, the Extension Lectures Committee (1918-1935). It appears that the records were re-arranged to facilitate the writing of Gordon Selman's history of the Department, and the original order was lost. The fonds consists largely of printed material, including pamphlets, advertisements and brochures relating to logging and milling equipment, machinery and buildings from the 1920s. Other records include correspondence to the head of the department H.R. Christie, a planned drawing of Idlewild Seed Extractory and a black and white photo of Coo's Bay Lumberyard in California
