The Registrar's Office also collected copies of student examinations. In 1993 copies of student examinations from 1915 to 1969 were microfilmed and the originals destroyed.

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, and reports documenting the activities of the Literary and Scientific Executive and of various campus clubs including the French Literary and Dramatic Society, the Musical Society anf the Players' Club.

Fonds covers an extended period, beginning with administrative material, which includes departmental budgets dating back to the early 1920s and continuing through the 1950s. There are also some departmental minutes from the 1940s and 1950s and most of the 1960s. There are records about the construction and renovation of the Biological Sciences Building, minutes from the various committees on which department heads sat, and material about UBC's Botanical Garden. There is also a brief but useful series of records concerning the Life Sciences Council's implementation and early history.

In addition, the fonds includes recordings of interviews conducted on behalf of the Alma Mater society relating to its art collection. The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, and minutes of meetings relating to the activities and programs of the Department of Psychology, and photographs of Department Heads and prominent faculty members. Some records date from before the formation of the Department, when the psychology program was still part of the Department of Philosophy and Psychology. Also included are audio recordings of interviews (with typed transcripts) documenting the Department's historical development.
The material is arranged in six series: Administration, Departmental Committees, Departmental Programs, External Correspondence, Historical Files, and Oral History Project. The Historical Files series consists of textual records which document the Department's formative years, and photographs; they had been placed in a box and stored separately from the Department's other records until transferred to the Archives.

The fonds primarily consists of textual records, including correspondence, reports, minutes, and published materials which together document Walter Hardwick's political and academic careers. They are arranged in series and sub-series based largely on his areas of activity and interest. The series are Urban Planning, Urban Planning Publications, Vancouver City Council, Open Learning Agency / Knowledge Network, Ministry of Education, Vancouver Urban Futures Project, Sumas Waste Processing Plant Environmental Review, Personal Papers, Essays, Reports and Reprints, and Subject Files. Photographs of architects' models for False Creek and Granville Island are also included. The fonds also includes videotapes consisting mainly of interview footage.

The fonds consist of proceedings, correspondence, minutes, reports, statistics, program and course descriptions, proposals, news releases, and publications. Many of the records originated from the Director's Office of the Centre for Continuing Education, and its predecessor, the Department of University Extension. They document these units' functions, activities, policies, and relationships with other University bodies and external agencies. Also included are audio recordings of lectures and other events sponsored by the Centre. There are also records from the office of the Associate Vice-President, Academic, from when he oversaw the operations of the Centre between 1988 and 1991. Other materials originated from the Women's Resources Centre: three folders of reports, correspondence, and photocopied newspaper clippings relating to the 1971 Status of Women conference, and over thirty publications dealing with women's issues.
A 2017 accrual of material more than doubled the size of the fonds. These records included small additions to the following series: Central Office Files, Administrative Committees, and Staff Relations. More significant additions were added to the Projects and Series, Programs, UBC Departments, UBC Committees, and External Bodies series. Additionally, a significant addition to the fonds was made in the resources series, which includes proceedings and course materials.
A 2018 accrual moderately increased the size of the fonds. Some files from folders without the typical alpha-numerical filing system pattern were placed with the Central Office series. Their contents matched the series description, including grant proposals, memos, correspondence, and budget information. Two new series were added, General History and Associate Vice-President Academic (Dr. Walter Uegama). Dr. McClean's series received additions from the 1992 re-organization and the Strategic Planning of 1993. Projects and Studies, UBC Committees, and UBC Departments series received significant additions as well. External Bodies received an increase, primarily related to CAUCE. The Liaison with External Agencies, Policies and Procedures, Programs, Special Events, and Status of Women series received small additions.

Fonds consists of correspondence (internal and external), minutes, reports, course curricula, student-related records, published materials, and personnel records, dating from when the School was still organized as a department, and earlier. It is arranged in the following series: Early History (1946-60), School Affairs (1959-85), University Departments (1958-84), Scholars, Musicians, and Others (1959-84), Organizations (1959-84), Universities and Colleges (1969-82), and Publications (1970-2007).

The fonds consists of minutes, reports, correspondence and published material generated by various organizations with which Conway has been associated. Records represented in the papers include Student Christian Movement (1956-2013), World University Service of Canada (1957-2009), United Nations Association (1959-1990), Canadian Council for International Cooperation (1967-1978), Canadian University Service Overseas (1961- 1991), Vancouver Refugee Council (1985-1989), Canadian Institute of International Affairs (1971-78, 1987-2000), Tibetan Refugee Aid Society (1985-1989), and Canadian Cross Roads International (1966-1990), among others. Other administrative records include material from the Faculty of Arts (1968-1991) and the Department of History (1958-2009). The papers include documents from the William G. Murrin Fund Committee (1979-1993), allocating funding to religious organizations at UBC. John Conway's professional correspondence (1963-2016) is also included.

Fonds consists of textual records generated throughout Dr. Miller's career with the Department of English. This fonds is arranged into three series that track Symonds' various roles as an urban planning professional. The Urban Education/Teacher in the City series contains records created or received by Symonds while she served in the Continuing Education department at UBC, including her seminal effort to publish The Teacher and the City. The second series, Commissions and Committee Work, details Symonds' service on the Vancouver City Planning Commission and other planning-related committees she chaired or participated in for both the local B.C. context and internationally. The final series, Planning Publications, Speeches, and Writings, focuses on writings or pieces created by Symonds or publications she set aside for her purposes. These date from the early beginnings of her urban planning career in the 1950s to well after her retirement in 1983. The archivist restored the original order where it was definitive. However, Ecological Reserve Applications 1-39 can be found scattered throughout the supporting records series. The original record keeper appears to have created a filing system beginning at the Ecological Reserve Application 40 (Petitot Rivers).
