The Vancouver Women in Focus Society fonds reflect their activities in video production and distribution, gallery exhibitions, activism and lobbying, community engagement, and research. Materials include correspondence, office files, newsletters, grant applications, sales and rental records, legal documents, catalogues and bibliographies, clippings, posters and flyers, meeting minutes, books, newspaper clippings, and financial records. The fonds also contains several non-WIF records relating to feminist and women’s issues, general art and film, as well as local and federal politics that reflects the context of the time and place in which Women in Focus were operating.

Records relating to the third series, the Gallery series, include files dealing with the Women in Focus Society’s art gallery events. Records relating to the fourth series, the Events series, include files dealing with the Women in Focus Society’s various events that they hosted or participated in. Event records include: publicity for events; project budgets and logistics research; correspondences and press releases about events; documents relating to workshops; research relating to participating in other events. Many records in the Events series relate to project-specific grant applications in the Administrative series.

Records relating to the fifth series, the Resources and Reference series, include files dealing with the Women in Focus Society’s research into related organizations and various of topics of interest. Records related to other organizations include: publicity for non-WIF productions; newsletters from other organizations; and artist profiles. Records relating to topics of interest cover political and social issues as they relate to women and/or art. These records range from the late 1960s to the early 1990s. These files include: government publications; magazines; newsletters; newspapers; zines; pamphlets; and photocopies of books.

The fonds consists of a typescript history of the Vancouver YMCA, four volumes of minutes (1899-1921, 1940-1945) and two volumes of minutes of the Y's Men's Club (1922-1925). Some printed material is interleafed with the first minute book.

He was employed as a draftsman during the 1944 season on the Pine Pass Survey and an album contains 30 prints of activities during the survey. Johnson, also known by her Mohawk stage name Tekahionwake, was a Canadian poet, author and performer who was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Her father was a hereditary Mohawk chief of mixed ancestry and her mother was an English immigrant.

Cheney's subject files on Canadian artists are included in the fonds, along with newspaper and periodical clippings, memorabilia, photographs and manuscripts.

The fonds is arranged in four series containing invitations to tender, specifications, and drawings from various marine architects and government agencies, as well as invoices, advertising and technical publications from various suppliers.

Fonds consists of records reflecting Fenton’s activities as the president of the Local 213 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in B.C. and the Executive Board representative of the First District of the Pacific District Council of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, spanning approximately from 1912 to 1913. These records are arranged in chronological order. Textual records in the fonds primarily consist of incoming correspondence from the U.S. to E.Tilford Fenton as the president of the I.B.E.W. in B.C., general circulars and reports from Pacific District Council, and administrative documents of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Personal correspondence of E. Tilford Fenton spans primarily from 1914 to 1915. These records are also arranged in chronological order. This fonds consists of minute books from 1956 to 1966, including minutes of executive meetings, annual convention programs and resolutions and records of expenses.

The fonds consists of records reflective of W. Randle Iredale’s career as a professional architect, spanning approximately 1955 to 2000, predominant between 1960-1970. Specific projects that are reflected in the records include: the Portage Mountain Development Project, Hydro Tourist Lookout, Downtown Stadium Centennial, Westcoast Transmission Building, UBC Sedgewick Undergraduate Library, Vancouver Downtown Stadium, Vancouver’s Park Site 19 Project and St. Francis Construction Project.

A large portion of the material is reflective of the Portage Mountain Development Project, a large hydro-electric project at Portage Mountain in north-east British Columbia. The following projects, which were all part of the Portage Mountain Development Project, are reflected in the fonds: the Portage Mountain Lookout Building, Portage Mountain Control Building, Portage Mountain Power House, Hudson’s Hope Housing and George W. Pearkes Elementary School.

Fonds consists of watercolour paintings and sketches completed by Lindgren, depicting scenes around the Vancouver area shorelines, including Prospect Point, English Bay, Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains. The fonds consists of 1 sketchbook and 12 loose leaves of paintings and drawings, however, it is clear that at least 10 of the leaves (numbered 1-2 through 1-11 in the item list) were at one time part of a sketch book also.

Fonds consists of textual and graphic material related to the activities of the Fuller siblings as traveling musicians, particularly during their American tour from 1913 to 1917, including correspondence, financial documents such as contracts and receipts, and photographs and drawings from their tours. Fonds also includes printed material such as programs and sheet music which the Fuller family had printed and sold.

The fonds contains records related to the activities of Douglas Mulhall in his capacity as member of Greenpeace Canada and as a member of the Greenpeace International, Stichting Greenpeace Council between 1979 and 1986. Records consists of extensive correspondences, minutes of the meetings and annual reports from various committees and councils on which Mulhall served, financial reports and other records related to the fiscal management of the Stiching Greenpeace Council and the Greenpeace’s national offices, as well as newspaper clippings, annotated journal publications, and photographs, which document Greenpeace’s administrative activities as well as its various environmental campaigns.

The fonds is arranged into the following the following series, Personal administrative records (1985-1990), Minutes of council and trustee meetings (1979-1990), Campaign records (1987-1989), Greenpeace International service records (1987), Organizational development records (1987-1990), Fundraising records (1987-1988), and International foundation for survival and development of humanity records (1988), and the following sous-fonds Greenpeace Canada (1980-1986).

The fonds contains notebooks, photographs, ephemera and correspondence relating to the career of Constable (and later Sergeant) Samuel Service with the British Columbia Provincial Police and, following the merge in 1950, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The records related to Service's work and life in the cities and surrounding regions of Port Alberni, Cowichan, Chemainus and Victoria.
