Series consists of formal and informal correspondence concerning matters related to the Anatomy department, as well as information related to budget, salaries, and other administrative responsibilities.

Subseries consists of correspondence, memos and reports relating to Griffith's career at the University of British Columbia.

ADED Financial subseries

Subseries consist of ledgers, cheques, tax information and memos relating to financial aspects of teaching and researching Adult Education.

ADED Courses subseries

Subseries consists of course outlines, reports, planning, evaluations and notes regarding specific courses taught at the University of British Columbia.

Addresses and Writings series

Series consists of the text of addresses, lecture and course notes, manuscripts, typescripts, essays, publications, book reviews, and a nearprint written by Walter N. Sage. Series contains six subseries: Addresses, Course/Lecture Notes, Manuscripts, Typescripts, Notes, and Publications subseries.

ACTRA series

Series includes materials relating to Saltzman’s membership and involvement in the organization ACTRA (Association of Canadian Television and Radio Artists before 1984, which currently stands for the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists.) Saltzman was president of ACTRA-Toronto in 1960. Materials include scripts, contracts, correspondence, and legal documents.

Active Voice series

Series consists of notes, clippings, articles, reviews, revisions, and correspondence about Active Voice, a reader co-edited by Messenger and William New that was published in 1980 (1st ed.), 1986 (2nd ed.) and 1991 (3rd ed.).

Active Awards series

Series consists of inactive files of awards which are still active in some capacity. Files are arranged alphabetically by the name of the award. As with the Discontinued Awards series, there is often historical information as to the background of the establishment of the awards and information about the recipients of the awards included. Much of this series is the Mackenzie King Scholarships (Open and Travel scholarships) which is funded by the trust of the late former Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. W.L. Mackenzie King (1874-1950). The files contain correspondence between UBC and the winners of the award between 1965-2001, information on the scholarship committee and financial information related to the scholarship.

Acquisitions Division sous-fonds

The Acquisitions Division was established in 1948, with Samuel Rothstein as its head. It was designated to handle all accessions (books and periodicals), regardless of source (purchase, gift, or exchange), and administer the disposal of duplicate materials. A separate Serials Division was established in 1950 to handle periodicals and the Gifts and Exchanges Division in 1965. In 1991 the Division, together with the Serials Division, was reorganized to form the Order Division and the Collections Accounting and Budget, Division.
The sous-fonds consists of records generated by the Acquisitions Division and includes annual reports and correspondence with publishers, booksellers, and donors and a series related to UBC’s involvement with SHASTRI.

Accreditation series

Series consists of correspondence, drafts reports, notes, interdepartmental memoranda, published materials from the School and the Committee of Accreditation (COA), and copies of the ALA's 1972 and 1992 standards for submitting self-study reports to the Committee and the establishment of guidelines and procedures for COA's Visiting Team to follow during site visits of the School.

Accreditation series

Series includes information on the American Library Association Committee on Accreditation (COA) visits to the UBC School of Librarianship in 1963, 1976 and 1984. It includes correspondence, memoranda, handwritten notes, visiting team schedules, drafts, reports and printed materials prepared by the School and COA.

Accepted Publications series

The series consists of articles submitted to Current Anthropology and accepted for publication, including manuscripts and related correspondence. Files are arranged in chronological order.

Series consists of information regarding visits that Copp made to various national and international academic institutions worldwide. In particular, records relate to these visits to medical schools, medical centres or hospitals. Series also includes documents detailing visiting professor positions that Copp held. Files are arranged chronologically.

Academic Teaching Career subseries

Subseries consists of correspondence, applications, curriculum vitae, notes and clippings on Messenger's teaching career with the UBC English Department, including tributes given at his memorial service.

Academic Records series

Series consists of Aberle's academic transcripts and essays, his teaching materials from the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at UBC and correspondence relating to various teaching positions held by Aberle. In addition, the series includes correspondence, drafts and notes relating to various lectures given by Aberle as Professor Emeritus and after his retirement.

Academic and Professional Work series

Series consists of several essays and papers written by Bewley and some works overseen by her in her capacity as a professor in the School of Librarianship at UBC. It also includes some research materials related explicitly to Bewley's interest in library legislation, as well as some miscellaneous material about the UBC School of Librarianship. The series is arranged chronologically.

Series consists of records documenting Belshaw's activities with various national and international academic and non-governmental organizations. Series is divided into sub-series covering major agencies and projects. Materials include minutes, reports, correspondence, financial records, pamphlets, publications, clippings, and notes.

Aboriginal Affairs and History series

This series consists of all materials Dr. Tester collected related to Aboriginal communities, comprising two series that Tester had labelled as “Aboriginal Affairs – Historical” and “Aboriginal History Documents.”
Some material in this series is related to Aboriginal child welfare but has been kept separate from the Aboriginal Child Welfare series due to how the creator filed it.

A Sea Lion called Salena series

The book is a children’s novel published by PEP in 1994. The story’s main character is a young girl named Kristie. Kristie discovers an injured sea lion pup when her best friend moves away. Series consists of a draft of the story.
