The fonds consists of Henderson's research material pertaining primarily to British native policy and to the slave trade. Included are testimonials and notes on First Nations affairs, copies of letters regarding slaves, reviewed and republished articles by Henderson, lectures, printed materials on slaves, Anti-Slavery Society notes, a speech and miscellaneous clippings.

The fonds consists of correspondence, research papers, printed material, sound recordings, and drafts of manuscripts collected or created by her in writing a biography of Thomas R. Berger entitled, Hard Choices.

The collection encompasses a wide range of topics including relocation to internment camps during World War II, farming, lumbering, religious activities, and personal reminiscences, as well as various organizational records. Individual collections have been arranged and described separately and filed in alphabetical order. Most of the manuscript material has been photocopied from original documents.

The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files, reports, memoranda, documents, newsletters, newspaper articles, pamphlets, letters and photographs relating to the activities of the British Columbia Liberal Party at both the provincial and federal levels and concerning the provincial riding of Vancouver-Point Grey and the federal riding of Vancouver-Quadra.
Although her papers document both B.C . and Federal Liberal Parties, the
majority of files deal with the B .C. Liberal Party.

The fonds consists of a personal scrapbook, a university degree certificate, the manuscript of her novel Resignation (Shikataganai), correspondence, clippings on the subject of women, Japanese-Canadians and other ethnic groups, and printed material relating to several courses which she took. The fonds also includes two binders of material on guidelines for novel-writing and descriptive cataloguing, a dramatized version of her novel as well as her M.A. projects.

The fonds consists of correspondence and clippings pertaining to the CCF political movement and Smith's newsletters, newspaper columns and submissions to various commissions. Fonds also includes a transcript of an interview with Evelyn Smith conducted by Rachel Epstein.

The fonds consists of correspondence (both personal and business), manuscripts of novels, short stories (some untitled), and poetry, as well as reviews of Ethel Wilson's work, contracts, photographs, awards, diaries (1938-1942) and subject files. Files created by MacMillan Company of Canada relating to the publication of some of Ethel Wilson's novels have been added to the fonds. Included are subject files relating to "Hetty Dorval", "The Innocent Traveller", "The Equations of Love", "Love and Salt Water", and "Mrs. Golightly and Other Stories" as well as articles of short works and articles, clippings, and correspondence regarding Ethel Wilson (1944-1972).

The fonds primarily reflects Spears career as a writer and artist. Some documentation from her youth, such as early artistic works and school papers, are also included. In addition to actual works of art, the records illustrate such activities as publishing books and articles, touring and exhibiting her work. Strongly represented are works which came from Spears presence at meetings, conferences and festivals, which include many drawings of poets and authors. Major accruals of works from the Canadian League of Poets AGMs, drawings of birth scenes, drawings from neo-natal units, and materials from the midwifery trial are arranged into their respective series; one series consists of research notes from Spears novel The Flourish; and the Artistic and literary projects files series contains material from many different writing, drawing and publishing activities. Artworks consist mostly of drawings on paper, with graphite or pastel as the medium. Textual materials include correspondence, clippings, contracts, posters and programs from appearances, and research notes.

The fonds consists of records pertaining to her life and pottery work in the form of correspondence (1931-1977), clippings, printed material, photographs, and diaries. The fonds also includes information on the Allied Officers Club of Vancouver. Correspondence with her husband, Dr. H.R.L. Davis, includes over 500 letters (1940-1944) and includes information about the Canadian armed forces in Britain.

Fonds consists of an annotated draft manuscript for Takashimas 1971 book "A Child in Prison Camp".

The fonds consists of records pertaining to B.C. Women's Rights committees as well as to the Task Force on Older Women in British Columbia. Included are sound recordings (cassettes) of hearings conducted by the Task Force, steering committee annual files (1975-1983), correspondence, committees, conferences, subject files, newsletters (1973-1984), publications, ephemera and resource files. The Task Force records include administration files (1979-1983), correspondence, briefs, hearings, publications, ephemera and printed material.

The fonds consists of the records of the B.C. chapter of the Voice of Women (1960-1978) and local chapters (Powell River, Vancouver, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver branches) include subject files, correspondence, minutes, scrapbooks, newsletters, conference proceedings, press clippings, president's papers, and financial reports reflecting the organization's involvement with disarmament, human rights issues, ecology and politics.

The fonds consists of 134 cassette tapes of 91 interviews with Japanese Canadians and two bound volumes containing an index to individuals interviewed, data sheets and consent forms for use of the material.

The fonds consists of newspaper clippings, correspondence, handwritten notes, news releases, reports, minutes, government brochures, and maps collected by Sawicki during her years on the Burnaby City Council and as an MLA for the riding of Burnaby-Willingdon. The majority of records relate to issues on the environment and agriculture which reflect Sawickis major interests while serving at both civic and provincial levels. At the civic level the fonds includes records from Sawickis work on several environmental and waste management committees. The fonds also includes a series on the Six Mile Ranch affair which relates not only to Sawickis role as an MLA for the New Democratic Party and her position as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment, but also to her long-term commitment to, and participation with the Agricultural Land Commission. The fonds includes numerous reports and submissions regarding the Six Mile Ranch affair.

The fonds consists of materials created and accumulated by Heroldine Copp in relation to her long involvement with the Vancouver-Burrard Liberal Association. The fonds consists of audio cassettes of interviews (100) with a variety of personalities (79) from the fields of entertainment, politics, and the professions relating to their careers and issues of the day recorded on radio talk show programmes at KSFO San Francisco (1), CKNW Vancouver (57), KGO San Francisco (10), CJOR Vancouver (23), WNIS Norfolk (3), XRA San Diego (5), and KCBS San Francisco (1) from 1960 to 1990. Some of the tapes include questions from listeners to the talk show guests. The people interviewed by Art Finley included some of the prominent personalities and newsmakers of the 1970s and early 1980s: Mohammed Ali, Joan Baez, Bill Graham, Germaine Greer, Henry Heimlich, Yousuf Karsh, John Lennon, Henry Morgentaler, Huey Newton, Pierre Trudeau, and Gore Vidal.

A manuscript entitled A Trip to Tibet (Summer 1930) with photographs chronicles a trip taken by the Crooks with fellow medics and missionaries. The considerable slide and print collection reveals aspects of Chinese people, life and topography as well as Asian-Christian subjects.
