The fonds includes records pertaining to Rachel Epstein’s involvement with LARA (correspondence, promotional and educational materials, project files), the establishment of the FLIS (a LARA initiative), International Women’s Day event and committee organization records, and research on the history of domestic and farm workers in B.C. ranging from the late 19th century to the mid-20th.

The fonds contains records pertinent to Lock Tin Lee’s functions as a KMT member, a public school educator, his personal life, and his overall involvement in organizations and affairs concerning the overseas Chinese. Lee’s records offer insight into the political aspirations of the Kuomintang amidst the backdrop of the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Cold War, the Chinese Civil War, and beyond; the public education scene for Chinese Canadians in British Columbia; and the lived experiences of the overseas Chinese in 20th century Canada.

Records predominantly range from Lee’s earlier years in China in the 1920s until his death in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1980. Records include reports, correspondence, notebooks, receipts and invoices, maps, books and bound material, newspapers, greeting cards, song sheets, business cards, badges and memorabilia, stamps and plaques, photographs, poems, flag textiles, and more. Many of these records were created in British Columbia, Canada, but others were generated in the process of Lee’s travels to other countries (predominantly Taiwan) or were received by Lee from other individuals and organizations based outside of British Columbia or Canada. Some records were generated or received by Lee’s family members.

Fonds consists of textual and graphic material related to the activities of the Fuller siblings as traveling musicians, particularly during their American tour from 1913 to 1917, including correspondence, financial documents such as contracts and receipts, and photographs and drawings from their tours. Fonds also includes printed material such as programs and sheet music which the Fuller family had printed and sold.

Fonds illustrates Frank Charnley's career and interests as a mathematician, sheep rancher, beekeeper and writer, as well as records relating to his family, predominately from his retirement years. Photographs showcase Charnley at his Barnston Island home, presumably in the 1960s. The fonds consists of the correspondence, reports, and memoranda (1935-1939) of the Consul General. Also included are Montreal office papers dating from 1919 and a few original documents from the Vancouver Consulate (1909-1911). There are copies of correspondence from the German Consulates at Ottawa, St . John's, Newfoundland, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. The papers reflect trade relations between Canada and Germany as well as between Canada and other countries, with some reference to related
political and economic affairs in Canada (e.g.. the Canadian boycott of German goods, the attitude of the Canadian Press) and economic affairs in Germany (e.g., the economic policies of the German Reich). The fonds consists of a typed transcript of Ainsworth's autobiography written between 1877 and 1892.

The fonds consists of minutes, membership lists, financial records, correspondence and printed material generated by the Archaeological Society of British Columbia between 1966 and 1985. The fonds also includes a run of the Society's newsletter The Midden and a scrapbook illustrating the activities of the organization from 1966 to 1972.

Fonds consists of research compiled by art historian and curator Patricia Ainslie. The research relates to both her published writing and her curatorial work at the Glenbow museum in Calgary, AB. These records include genealogical research materials, photographs, educational certificates, navy service records, and textual documentation of his career and interests in forestry. It also reflects other projects undertaken by Burch, such as the Working Forest publication, a history of South Vancouver Island, as well as papers, research, correspondence, and speeches. Fonds consists of legal documents, reports, publications, speeches, newspaper clippings and other material related to Evans’ labour activities, including the On-to-Ottawa Trek and resulting Regina Riot Commission, and the defence of Trek members arrested in the Regina Riot. There is also material related to the Canadian Labour Defence League, the Communist Party of Canada, and material in support of the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War.

The fonds consists of material relating to the work and collections of Robert Reid. It includes a collection of fine printwork from a variety of presses, examples of printed material at various stages in the publication process, and research and reference material relating to design and printing.

Also included in the fonds are biographical material, correspondence to and from Reid, financial records, speeches, notes, clippings, and photographs. The content of this material relates to both the personal and professional life of Reid and spans from the the 1930s to the 2000s.

Fonds consists primarily of correspondence, published materials, and other documentation related to Potrebenko's writing career and publications. Also included are materials she accumulated in relation to her involvement with local labour activism.

The fonds contains records related to the activities of Douglas Mulhall in his capacity as member of Greenpeace Canada and as a member of the Greenpeace International, Stichting Greenpeace Council between 1979 and 1986. Records consists of extensive correspondences, minutes of the meetings and annual reports from various committees and councils on which Mulhall served, financial reports and other records related to the fiscal management of the Stiching Greenpeace Council and the Greenpeace’s national offices, as well as newspaper clippings, annotated journal publications, and photographs, which document Greenpeace’s administrative activities as well as its various environmental campaigns.

The fonds is arranged into the following the following series, Personal administrative records (1985-1990), Minutes of council and trustee meetings (1979-1990), Campaign records (1987-1989), Greenpeace International service records (1987), Organizational development records (1987-1990), Fundraising records (1987-1988), and International foundation for survival and development of humanity records (1988), and the following sous-fonds Greenpeace Canada (1980-1986).

This fonds consists of 12 series; meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, welfare funds, videos, regulations and legislation, related organizations, general business records, land referrals, herring (roe), financial, First Nations, and salmon. Each of the series relates to the F.V.O.A.'s work with fishing and water concerns. The same issues defined within each of these series are also documented through the newspaper clippings. The minutes span over 40 years, beginning in 1938, and include general, committee, director's and membership meetings. The fonds also includes copies of legislation and regulations relating to various fishing and water related concerns, such as ports and harbours, maritime codes, vessel construction, shipping, and research. The F.V.O.A.'s ongoing cooperative work with relevant outside groups is documented through numerous drafts, proposals, agreements, reports, and correspondence. The videos are of the Skeena River Steelhead, Salmon, the Sportfish Observer Program and First Nations fishing rights. There is a large amount of land referral material (the application for use of Crown land) including several maps. With reference directly to fish; there is information on herring (roe) related issues, and a significant amount of documents covering Salmon. A vast portion of the Salmon series deals with Canadian-U.S. negotiations regarding poaching, water boundaries, salmon shares, runs and catches. The fonds provides overall insight into the workings of the F.V.O.A.

The fonds consists of Knight's photographs of prospecting, placer mining, harvesting, riding the rails, logging and mining camps throughout B.C.

The fonds consists of sixty-six letters from Ethel Wilson to Alan and Jean Crawley relating to her literary career and social activities.

The fonds consists of files relating to activities of the Canadian Radio League, the first Alan B. Plaunt Memorial Lecture, 1958 and other materials on the origins of public broadcasting in Canada.

The collection consists of assorted research materials assembled by Runnalls, relating to the history of the United Church in British Columbia.

The fonds consists of Holderness' manuscript diary and expense account of a business trip to Canada and the United States in connection with the timber trade in 1837. He took particular note of his means of transport, which included steamer, railroads, schooners, canal boats, stage coaches, wagons, gigs and horses. The diary provides an excellent description of travel in North America at that time.

The fonds consists of a photocopy of the first of three volumes of Bobillier's diary describing his journey from France to the Yukon in 1939 and his subsequent missionary activities on behalf of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in British Columbia and the Yukon.

The fonds consists of the company minute book (1936-1945) for the Federationist Publishing Company.

This fonds consists mainly of records assembled by McPherson over the course of his professional career. Material documenting McPhersons wartime activities predominates. The fonds contains two sous-fonds. One of these includes a scrapbook and from McPhersons father, Ewan. The other contains research, correspondence and interviews conducted by Kay Alsop in the mid 1990s. Alsop, a prominent Vancouver journalist, intended to write a biography of McPherson but was never able to find a publisher for the book. Alsop therefore decided to donate some of her research files as part of the McPherson fonds. The Alsop Sous-Fonds contains important records which McPherson had given to her, particularly those documenting the decision to intern Japanese-Canadians.

The collection, started at the turn of the century by Michaud, consists of documents, correspondence, and records relating to French-Canadian history. It includes transcripts and photographic copies of material in the Archives Nationales in Paris and Quebec and elsewhere.

The fonds consists of Turner's handwritten diary (1911-1912). Much of the diary refers to his construction activities and to the political events of the time. The diary is written in a copying book that interleaves an "onion skin"-type paper with regular paper to allow for the creation of a copy. In this instance the copies appear to have been sent to his family - the first entry is dated November 12-13, 1911 and is addressed to "Mother dearest & all."

The fonds consists of records from the Amateur Athletic Union of Canada (1910-1916), the B.C. Amateur Athletic Union (1911-1914), and the B.C. Amateur Swimming Association (1913), together with programs for athletic events (1912-1915), clippings (1913-1915), and a photograph and printed material.

Fonds consists of printed copies of public submissions made to the Citizens Assembly on the topic of electoral reform, press clippings, a log tracking media coverage, recordings of meetings, archives of the website and electronic documents, various presentations and reports.

The fonds consists of correspondence including a letter from T.C. Douglas as well as a large series from Gretchen Steeves dated 1950-1965 relating to her political activities and describing CCF philosophy. Articles, speeches and broadcast transcripts by and about Cameron ranging 1940 to 1968 reflect his political interest and involvement.

The collection consists of operating statements for Bloedel, Stewart and Welch Ltd., Bloedel Operation (1925-1950), Sarita River Operation (1947-1950) and Sproat Lake Operation (1942-1950).

The fonds consists of five scrapbooks which include correspondence, poetry and clippings. Incoming letters (1921-64) thank Murison for her gifts of poetry and also include some poetry. Some of the clippings pertain to her poetry while others relate to pesticide control (ca. 1965).
