Series consists of correspondence records from the Whitham, Clements, and Zoellner families. Correspondence includes those that were received by various family members as well as those that were sent among family member. Series includes records such as letters, postcards, official documents, and ephemera. Some photos are pasted into pages of text and have not yet been separated. All photos, even those associated with correspondence files have been numbered as part of the family photographs series (12.2).

Records relating to the first series, Kujundzic’s artist records are divided into two subseries: artwork and projects, and exhibitions and publicity. The artwork and projects subseries contains records related to the production of his artwork, including drafts, studio works, sketchbooks, writings, poetry, and research and inspiration materials. Records in the series teaching and professional records relate to his role as a professor and as a member and director of arts societies. This series is divided into three subseries: Kootenay School of Arts, Pennsylvania State University, and Professional affiliations. The series Kootenay School of Arts contains records of Kujundzic’s time as a teacher in the Okanagan, B.C., and records relating to the Art Centre in Kelowna. The subseries Pennsylvania State University contains records related to his time spent with the Arts Department of PSU and consists of teaching, lecture and workshop materials, correspondence between faculty, and records relating to his role as a professor. Professional Affiliations subseries contains records relating to the associations and societies he was part of and some that he founded, including the Sculptors’ Society of British Columbia and the Contemporary Okanagan Artists.

Records in the personal and administrative records series includes personal correspondence made and received by Kujundzic, photographs, family and biographical records, CVs, applications, and immigration and travel documents.

The fonds consists of biographical materials, conference proceedings, reports, articles, books, sermons, speeches, talks, committee reports, correspondence, newspaper clippings, a photograph and a video tape. The fonds consists of correspondence, reports (both published and unpublished), statistics, written notes, and minutes. The fonds consists of diaries, scrapbooks, and correspondence spanning the period 1910-2003 and related to the professional and personal lives of three generations of the Bamford family—William Blackley Bamford, his son William Blackley Stanley Bamford, and his grandson William Huestis Bamford—as well as to members of the Lasell and Ord families, related by marriage to William Huestis Bamford. Diaries in the fonds include concise “five year” or “line a day” diaries, as well as more detailed daily journals and many cover aspects of the Bamfords’ professional and personal life.

Scrapbooks in the fonds, which contain newspaper clippings, ephemera, correspondence, photographs, notes, and other material, primarily reflect the Bamfords’ personal interests, but also interests their chosen professions and employers, including the Canadian Pacific Railway Company and the Bank of Montreal. Beyond the incoming and outgoing personal and professional correspondence included in the scrapbooks, the Esther Adelina Lasell Bamford series contains incoming correspondence related to a branch of the Ord family living in New Zealand.

Fonds consists of original versions of manuscripts and working records. Fonds consists of material documenting Ian Slater's writing career. It includes 80 5 ¼ inch computer floppy disks containing different versions in digital format of Slater's works of fiction dating from 1981 to 1998. All digital manuscripts were originally typed in plain-text format on DOS 3.1 or 3.2. The fonds also includes a heavily-annotated copy of the second (2003) edition of Slater's Orwell: The Road To Airstrip One.

The fonds consists of minutes of committee meetings, financial reports, correspondence, curriculum vitae, lists of lectures, newspaper clippings from the Ubyssey and the Vancouver Sun, posters, speeches, songs, photographs and an audio tape. The fonds consists of personal and professional materials created and collected by Professor Jacob Zilber. The fonds consists of screenplays, manuscripts, drafts, notes, and correspondences relating to Jacob Zilber's published and unpublished materials. The fonds also includes biographical and autobiographical material, clippings, teaching records and course materials. It also contains manuscripts by students, materials related to musician and composer Michael Zilber, Department of Creative Writing administrative records as well as various UBC committee records.

This fonds consists of textual records, photographs, newspaper clippings, a VHS tape, and an audio reel. The materials focus on the history (or “herstory”) of the Women’s Resource Centre, emphasizing their move from the UBC Robson Square, where they originally opened in 1973, to the UBC Point Grey campus in 2002.

Fonds consists of laboratory manuals published by the UBC Department of Physics between 1949 and 1966 (most dated 1957-1962); mimeographed hand-outs for experiments and other assignments; hand-written lecture notes; and a 1944 Canadian Army physics laboratory manual. Many of the manuals are annotated. The manuals are bound, but the notes and hand-outs are loose; all have been placed in acid-free folders. They are arranged by course number, and then chronologically; unnumbered materials, and folders containing unsorted material from various courses, were placed at the end.

Audio-visual materials consist of two films on three 16 mm film reels on the subject of World War II and Japanese culture.

Fonds consists predominantly of copies of Douglas Bankson’s plays, scripts and short stories. It also includes photographs from two Bankson plays and of his artwork, as well as different posters and recordings from miscellaneous Bankson productions.

Fonds contains records relating to the research of David C. Walker. This includes photographs of electron microscope images and illustrations regarding epithelial and endothelial tri-cellular corner tight junctions. Also included are notes, drafts, reviews, and final copies of four publications: “The role of epithelial cell tight junctions in tracheal permeability,” “The reassessment of the tricellular region of epithelial cell tight junctions,” “The structure of the tricellular junctions of pulmonary capillaries,” and “Tricellular corners: preferred sites for leukocyte emigration from the pulmonary vasculature of rabbits".

The fonds consists of forty-one interviews with thirty eight colleagues, family, students and friends of Margaret Ormsby. In addition to the 50 cassette tapes there is also general information about the project as well as textual material for each interview consisting of a tape release form signed by the interviewee, a biographical information sheet and a detailed "timed tape guide".

Fonds consists of records made and received by the Faculty of Education, with the bulk of the records originating from the Dean's Office within the Faculty of Education. The fonds documents the leadership role of the Office of the Dean (such as the Dean's Annual Report and Dean's Briefing Sessions) and the administrative role of the office (such as "Budget," "Employment," and "Reorganization"). The fonds also contains minutes and other documentation from the Joint Board of Teacher Education, 1963-1983, and the Tri-Ed Committee, from 1966-1982. Other documented activities include course development and syllabi; symposia, workshops and other special events; faculty research files; faculty committee files; documentation from various programs and departments that comprised the Faculty of Education (Undergraduate Studies, Elementary Education, etc.). This fonds consists of records related to Darryl Adams' activities as a political and social justice activist as well as his personal life. The fonds consists of three series: personal life and administrative records; activism involvement series; and activism collections series.

Records relating to the first series, Adams' personal life and administrative files include: personal correspondence received by Adams; photographs collected, taken of or by Adams'; school records and club memberships memorabilia; news clippings and other articles; and work related records such as research materials and correspondence.

Records relating to the second series, the activism involvement series, include material created or used by groups that Adams was involved in such as the Vancouver American Exiles Association (VAEA), as well as the Galindo Madrid Case of the 1970s. These records include meeting minutes; correspondence; conference, seminar, and workshop materials; materials by or about other communist, socialist, or leftist organizations; papers, articles, speeches, critiques, letters, and reports on related topics; ephemera and publications, such as newsletters, journals, and clippings; and sound recordings such as interviews Adams' gave on behalf of VAEA.

The last series consists of three major collections that Adams obtained over his lifetime. The first collection is the lefty literature collection that consists of newspapers, magazines, periodicals, booklets and bulletins, and other publications related to leftist themes. The second collection is a poster collection and the last collection is a button collection.

Fonds consists of records generated by Helen Dahlstroms activities in her capacity as a pianist, accompanist, music teacher, choir conductor, examiner, adjudicator, and national, provincial and international arts and music boards. The records relate to personal and administrative daily activities concerning music and the arts, mainly in western Canada and to a lesser extent in the United States, England, France and Africa. The records consist of personal and administrative correspondence, newspaper clippings, concert programs, newsletters of music associations, bibliographies of chief Canadian composers, material relating to music teaching, histories of music associations and musicians, curriculum vitae, speeches, Canadian music sheets, jury lists and schedules of music examinations, music evaluation notes, financial records, grant proposals, promotional material, annual reports of music associations, minutes of meetings of music associations, and miscellaneous material. In addition to the textual records, the fonds consists of a small number of photographs. The records have been arranged into the following series:

The fonds consists of two series biographical information and Do-It-Yourself Chemistry / Home Chemistry. The former includes information about Hayward including articles, CV, copies of publications and a list of his patents. The second series consists of material relating to the development of the Do-It-Yourself Chemistry program. It includes copies of newspaper columns, list of schools visited, samples of thank you letters from students, DIYC publications, photographs showing Hayward with students in various classrooms, and cassette recordings of his CFMI radio show and other interviews.

The fonds contain materials that document William Fredeman's professional activities and personal life. It consists of correspondence, reports, copies of articles, course materials, a journal, clippings, microfilms and photocopies of original manuscripts, written notes and other research materials, photographs, videocassettes, a set of index cards, and a metal seal bearing the logo of the Journal of Pre-Raphaelite & Aesthetic Studies. The materials are arranged in the following series: Colbeck Collection, JPRAS (Journal of Pre-Raphaelite & Aesthetic Studies), Emily Faithfull and the Victorian Press, Victorian Poetry, T.J. Wise and UBC Materials, Mosher Books, Correspondence, Subject Files, Miscellaneous, Microfilm, and Audiovisual Materials. The photographs and videocassettes are stored separately.

The collection is an assemblage of movie memorabilia (predominantly Noir and Western), 20cm x 25cm film-stills, 28 cm x 36 cm lobby cards, and ephemera amassed by Thompson as a part of her research for her books Hard-Boiled and Tall in the Saddle. Additionally, there are Science Fiction stills and posters, Spanish-language lobby cards, 36cm x 91cm insert posters, and miscellaneous stills from other 20th-century cinema.

The series are Urban Planning, Urban Planning Publications, Vancouver City Council, Open Learning Agency / Knowledge Network, Ministry of Education, Vancouver Urban Futures Project, Sumas Waste Processing Plant Environmental Review, Personal Papers, Essays, Reports and Reprints, and Subject Files. Photographs of architects' models for False Creek and Granville Island are also included. The fonds also includes videotapes consisting mainly of interview footage.

The fonds consist of proceedings, correspondence, minutes, reports, statistics, program and course descriptions, proposals, news releases, and publications. Many of the records originated from the Director's Office of the Centre for Continuing Education, and its predecessor, the Department of University Extension. They document these units' functions, activities, policies, and relationships with other University bodies and external agencies. Also included are audio recordings of lectures and other events sponsored by the Centre. There are also records from the office of the Associate Vice-President, Academic, from when he oversaw the operations of the Centre between 1988 and 1991. Other materials originated from the Women's Resources Centre: three folders of reports, correspondence, and photocopied newspaper clippings relating to the 1971 Status of Women conference, and over thirty publications dealing with women's issues.
A 2017 accrual of material more than doubled the size of the fonds. These records included small additions to the following series: Central Office Files, Administrative Committees, and Staff Relations. More significant additions were added to the Projects and Series, Programs, UBC Departments, UBC Committees, and External Bodies series. Additionally, a significant addition to the fonds was made in the resources series, which includes proceedings and course materials.
A 2018 accrual moderately increased the size of the fonds. Some files from folders without the typical alpha-numerical filing system pattern were placed with the Central Office series. Their contents matched the series description, including grant proposals, memos, correspondence, and budget information. Two new series were added, General History and Associate Vice-President Academic (Dr. Walter Uegama). Dr. McClean's series received additions from the 1992 re-organization and the Strategic Planning of 1993. Projects and Studies, UBC Committees, and UBC Departments series received significant additions as well. External Bodies received an increase, primarily related to CAUCE. The Liaison with External Agencies, Policies and Procedures, Programs, Special Events, and Status of Women series received small additions.

The fonds consists of family papers, genealogical material, manuscripts and correspondence documenting the history of the Warren family in England. Some of the family members represented in the fonds are Reverend Dawson Warren, Falkland G.E. Warren, and Charlotte Jackson. The fonds also includes biographical information about Harry Warren and copies of his publications to 1978.

The fonds consists of photographs, as well as reports and printed material relating to the faculty's communications and public affairs programmes, and the faculty's news publication "Ingenuity".

The fonds consists of materials created or collected by Osborne that relate primarily to his work with the various local, provincial, national and international sports and athletic organizations throughout his career.

Fonds consists of textual records and published materials produced or acquired by Keith Ralston primarily through his historical research and other professional activities, along with a small selection of personal materials. It is arranged in the following ten series, which largely reflect how the records arrived in their original order: Department of History, Thesis, Dictionary of Canadian Biography, Cowichan Fishing Case, Public Record Office, Hudson’s Bay Company Research, Research, Associations, Personal, and Day Books.
