Series consists of the text of addresses, lecture and course notes, manuscripts, typescripts, essays, publications, book reviews, and a nearprint written by Walter N. Sage. Series contains six subseries: Addresses, Course/Lecture Notes, Manuscripts, Typescripts, Notes, and Publications subseries.

Subseries consists of course outlines, reports, planning, evaluations and notes regarding specific courses taught at the University of British Columbia.

ADED Financial subseries

Subseries consist of ledgers, cheques, tax information and memos relating to financial aspects of teaching and researching Adult Education.

Subseries consists of correspondence, memos and reports relating to Griffith's career at the University of British Columbia.

The bulk of the series consists of documentation relating to the origin and history of the Division, records such as memorandum and correspondence documenting the relationship and exchange with the Department of Education of British Columbia, documentation regarding the facility and equipment, and correspondence, newspapers, and other records concerning the Industrial Education Program, and some of its the problems. The series also contains documentation of the Division’s daily activities, such as faxes and petty cash. Most of the files are dated from the 1960, 1970, and 1980s. The files have been re-organized in roughly chronological order.

The series also contains photographs of Peterat and much information and photos from the Intergenerational Landed Learning project she led from 2002-2007.

Administrative Series

Series consists of textual materials created in order to run and promote the Brave New Play Rites festivals. Some folders were organized into a clear administrative folder that contains relevant records for one year, such as in 1994, while other materials were more interspersed in order by the creator. A significant majority of the materials are promotional in nature and include posters for the festival in addition to printed programs for each year. The titles and authors of student plays are often available in the programs. Other types of records included in this series are meeting minutes, agendas, memorandum, calendars, budgets, reports, newspaper clippings, notes, correspondence, handbooks and some play scripts.
