The fonds consists of the constitution, minutes, correspondence, addresses of members, notices, clippings, and photographs from the Swedish Cultural Society.

Fonds consists of documents spanning Bunce’s career in the forestry sector, covering both his paid and volunteer work. The bulk of the material relates to his work as a forestry consultant at Reid, Collins & Associates and his work on several national forestry committees. Additional material relates to his years as a graduate student, his early career, his involvement with various professional associations, and his years as part owner of a woodlot near Maple Ridge, BC. Also included are articles he published and notes from presentations that he gave.

The archivist removed some documents that had come with the original donation, but that did not have significant value. These included duplicates, published material available elsewhere, personal documents (such as hotel reservations and journal subscription receipts), and loose documents that had no context. Also removed were documents that contained personal and/or confidential information, such as school transcripts of individuals besides Bunce and private documents of company's for whom Bunce did consulting work.

Some works that Bunce had collected, but not authored, were removed from this fonds and added to the library’s general collection.

This fonds consists of records related to Darryl Adams' activities as a political and social justice activist as well as his personal life. The fonds consists of three series: personal life and administrative records; activism involvement series; and activism collections series.

Records relating to the first series, Adams' personal life and administrative files include: personal correspondence received by Adams; photographs collected, taken of or by Adams'; school records and club memberships memorabilia; news clippings and other articles; and work related records such as research materials and correspondence.

Records relating to the second series, the activism involvement series, include material created or used by groups that Adams was involved in such as the Vancouver American Exiles Association (VAEA), as well as the Galindo Madrid Case of the 1970s. These records include meeting minutes; correspondence; conference, seminar, and workshop materials; materials by or about other communist, socialist, or leftist organizations; papers, articles, speeches, critiques, letters, and reports on related topics; ephemera and publications, such as newsletters, journals, and clippings; and sound recordings such as interviews Adams' gave on behalf of VAEA.

The last series consists of three major collections that Adams obtained over his lifetime. The first collection is the lefty literature collection that consists of newspapers, magazines, periodicals, booklets and bulletins, and other publications related to leftist themes. The second collection is a poster collection and the last collection is a button collection.

The fonds consists of photographs and textual records which belonged to the Inouye family. The records are related mostly to the father, Zennosuke Inouye and his involvement with the Surrey Berry Farmers Cooperative and his youngest daughter, Kiyooki (Beverly) Inouye. The fonds has been arranged into the following series: Surrey Berry Farmers Cooperative records, correspondence, ephemera, land records, photographs, military records, financial records, and voting records.

The fonds consists of minute books of the Guild from 1917 to 1967. The first monthly report of the Guild (March 1918) is included in the first minute book. Minutes of the Western Branch for 1966 and 1967 are also included.

The fonds consists of medical claim files, including doctors' certificates, labour codes and correspondence pertaining to Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company of Canada (Cominco) employees in Trail, B.C. between 1946 and 1974.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook filled with newspaper clippings of descriptive dispatches written by Cummings between 1939 and 1946. Memorabilia includes two Parliamentary Press Gallery annual dinner programs, one program for H.G. Wells' seventieth birthday and a newspaper article which discusses the 1940 bombing of Printing House Square.

The fonds consists of business records of the Carleton CCF Club (Vancouver), including cancelled cheques, ledgers, bingo receipts and an unidentified photograph.

Records primarily include research on various individuals involved in the forest industry of British Columbia from the 1930s to the 1970s. These research materials have been gathered and organized by members of the association and include original photographic prints, photograph reprints, correspondence, and written or recorded oral testimonies and interviews.

The fonds consists of minutes, financial and office files of the Energy and Chemical Workers Union Local 614 and its predecessors, the United Oil Workers Union Local 3, the Oil Workers International Union Local 614, and the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers International Union Local 16-614. The fonds also includes correspondence and agreements of Imperial Oil Ltd. relating to the initial unionization of workers at the Ioco Refinery, Ioco, B.C. (now Port Moody, B.C.), 1943-1946.

The fonds consists of by-laws, membership lists, minutes, correspondence, reference files, and press clippings relating to the administration and operations of the Fort Langley and District Board of Trade between 1947 and 1965.

The collection includes a number of administrative records (10.5 cm) dating from the Society's creation in 1976 up to 2004. It includes newsletters (1cm) for the years between 1986 and 2004.

The fonds consists of records collected by Clay Perry related to the International Woodworkers of America – Canada (IWA). It primarily consists of records generated by the union in the course of its operation, records created by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who gathered surveillance on the IWA-Canada and its predecessors for several years, as well as research material collected and created by Perry himself, including transcripts of interviews, news clippings, scrapbooks, and pamphlets and booklets on unions in British Columbia.

The Union records series contains records related to the main functions of the IWA, the WIUC, and IWA local chapters, including Local 1-357, of which Perry was a member. Record types include constitutions and by-laws of the union, conference materials, minutes of meetings, press releases, informational pamphlets, correspondence, bulletins and newsletters, news clippings, and executive reports.

The Legal records series contains records related to the IWA’s legal activities, including court disputes over negotiations, strikes, and employee and bargaining rights. It also contains records generated by the RCMP in gathering information on the IWA. Record types include court records, appeals, depositions, legal acts, and police reports on union activity.

The Research materials series comprises materials collected or created by Perry in his research of the history of the union. The series contains news-clippings and scrapbooks related to the IWA and the labour movement in Canada, research notes, transcripts of interviews and oral histories given by union members, publications related to the IWA, the labour movement, and communism, and theses of labour scholars on the IWA.

Contains the operational records of the Vancouver Fishermen's Settlement Services from 1943 to 1974. Records include annual and monthly financial summaries, meeting minutes, manager's reports, insurance agreements, and correspondence.

The fonds consists of materials collected by the Potters Guild of British Columbia. The fonds primarily consists of news clippings, photographs, and notes related to one of the members of the Guild, Santo Mignosa. Topics include ceramic and pottery exhibitions, techniques, awards, and educational workshops.

The fonds consists of records pertaining to the Pacific fishery industry. It includes Doyle's manuscript of Rise and Decline of the Pacific Salmon Fisheries, correspondence, thirty volumes of notebooks, legal documents, notes, reports, speeches, and clippings. The fonds also includes numerous photographs, statistics on B.C. companies and canneries, printed material, a scrapbook, maps and information about the B.C. Canners' Association, B.C. Packers' Association, the Select Standing Committee on Marine and Fisheries, and the Parliamentary Fisheries Committee.

The fonds reflects Patrice Pratt’s political and labour union careers and her community organization involvement. Records in the fonds relate to Pratt’s various roles within the Federal and Provincial NDP, as President of the BCNDP and as a constituency, committee, council, and party member, the BCGEU and BC Federation of Labour. Records consist of professional and personal correspondence, reports, communications, reference and resource material, convention materials, pamphlets and programs, newspaper clippings, agendas, minutes, resolutions, constitutions, policies, membership lists, campaign and platform materials, publications, campaign buttons, banners and other material. The fonds is divided into three series: Federal NDP, Provincial NDP and Labour Unions. The Provincial NDP series consists of two subseries: BCNDP President and BCNDP Associations, Committees and Advocacy.

As Pratt held various roles simultaneously throughout her career and much of her union work informed her political career, this overlap is reflected in her files. Records are divided into series based on the role held by Pratt at the beginning of the process, resulting in some record dates falling outside the official boundaries of the role she was working in.

Volunteer members and elected directors of the Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia (FMCBC) created and kept records as part of their work carrying out the Federation’s major mandate: organizing mountain clubs from throughout the province of British Columbia to represent collective interests for self-propelled access to wilderness areas.

Ranging in date from the 1970’s to ca. 2018, records in the fonds document the FMCBC’s major activities in support of their mandate: administrative and executive activities, the creation of various committees and work undertaken by these committees, advocacy for various lands and parks throughout the province to be considered and maintained for public access, and educating and communicating to both members and the public on topics of relevant interest.

While the FMCBC as an organizational body created the majority of these records, some records in the fonds were created by related organizations, such as the British Columbia Mountaineering Club, governmental committees, or natural resource extraction companies. The majority of records within the fonds are textual, though some other record types are present, including maps, photographs and ephemera.

C.D.C. also regularly corresponded with provincial and federal Canadian government offices concerning Canada’s relationship with Chile, particularly its economic relationship. Contents include: posters, leaflets, and other promotional materials for events, conference, and boycotts; published materials (including editions of Chile News, newsletters, and bound copies of conference and UN proceedings); newspaper clippings about activism, Chilean refugees in Canada, and conditions in Chile; correspondence; administrative records; and event photographs.

Fonds consists of materials documenting the activities of the National Association of Japanese Canadians (NAJC) during four general time periods: the pre-redress period (including records by the National Japanese Canadian Citizens’ Association before it became the NAJC), the birth and development of the redress movement in the 1980s, the implementation of redress following the September 1988 settlement (1988 – 1992), and the post-implementation period (1993-present). The fonds has been arranged in the following seven series: NAJC Presidents, NAJC Business, Conferences and Other Events, Finance, Communications, Community Development, and Reference Material.
