Finlay and illustrators Edwina Ellis and Colin Paynton), pamphlets, broadsheets, etc.; general printing files cover printed ephemera and job printing including design files and promotional and background materials; financial files include invoices and bank records.

The fonds consists of records relating to the ABPBC’s activities. Records cover the period of time from the ABPBC’s inception to 2015 and pertain primarily to the book publishing industry in the province of British Columbia. The ABPBC’s activities included applying for funding from a range of provincial and federal organizations and governments, holding meetings, advocating for their members to the provincial government, promoting their members, undertaking special projects, and researching areas pertinent to the provincial book publishing industry. Specific administrative activities the organization undertook included maintaining its multi-level membership base, managing finances and funding applications, electing executive teams, and overseeing various projects.

The papers relate to his activities as a climber, free-lance writer, and columnist for the Victoria Daily Times (1963-1972) as well as containing correspondence of a personal nature . The correspondents include William Morrow and Company, ACTRA, Ronald Chambers, Leone Edgar, Elsie Norman and Willis Kingsley Wing. In addition to articles and stories by and about him, a scrapbook includes a series on the Mt. Waddington expedition.

The fonds consists of an album created by former UBC student Arthur Evan Boss. It contains over 560 small black and white photographs, of which approximately the first half relate to UBC and taken between 1917 and 1924. The 232 UBC images include many views of students and student life at the original Fairview campus. As well as posed individual shots of students, there are many photographs of various student activities, including the annual class picnic. Although there is limited duplication of images already in the Archives, the photographs are, for the most part, unique, and a large majority of them have captions with enough information for identifying individuals. Images in the second half of the album lack detailed description and do not appear to relate to UBC.

The fonds consists of audio cassettes of interviews (100) with a variety of personalities (79) from the fields of entertainment, politics, and the professions relating to their careers and issues of the day recorded on radio talk show programmes at KSFO San Francisco (1), CKNW Vancouver (57), KGO San Francisco (10), CJOR Vancouver (23), WNIS Norfolk (3), XRA San Diego (5), and KCBS San Francisco (1) from 1960 to 1990. Some of the tapes include questions from listeners to the talk show guests. The people interviewed by Art Finley included some of the prominent personalities and newsmakers of the 1970s and early 1980s: Mohammed Ali, Joan Baez, Bill Graham, Germaine Greer, Henry Heimlich, Yousuf Karsh, John Lennon, Henry Morgentaler, Huey Newton, Pierre Trudeau, and Gore Vidal.

The fonds consists of biographical material, incoming (1926-1964) and outgoing (1945-1965) correspondence, a typescript and published edition of Webster's textbook Living Together in Canada and subject files. The fonds also includes pamphlets and clippings relating to various subjects.

Fonds consists of records of the Vancouver Chapter of the Association of Records Managers (ARMA). Records in the fonds have come in multiple accruals. The first six accruals are described and inventoried in the attached pdf. The 2014 accrual is described and inventoried within this database record. Fonds materials include a history of the Vancouver Chapter, incorporation file, annual reports, financial records, minutes, correspondence, photographs from events, printed and published material, awards and award documents, and clippings relating to the activities of the Association.

The fonds consists of a personal scrapbook, a university degree certificate, the manuscript of her novel Resignation (Shikataganai), correspondence, clippings on the subject of women, Japanese-Canadians and other ethnic groups, and printed material relating to several courses which she took. The fonds also includes two binders of material on guidelines for novel-writing and descriptive cataloguing, a dramatized version of her novel as well as her M.A. projects.

The collection consists of records of the provincial office of the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation and general research material pertaining to socialism and the labour movement. The collection also includes records generated by Arthur Turner as CCF Whip and Arnold Webster as a provincial party leader. Subject files pertaining to early socialists and clippings about international affairs were created by Dorothy Steeves. Subsequent accessions added to the collection have included the records of Angus MacInnis, Francis McKenzie and former provincial leader Ernest Winch.

The Plaunt correspondence contains a detailed record of the events surrounding the history of the Canadian Radio League, the Canadian Radio Broadcasting Commission (1932), and the Act creating the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
